Here dogs are welcome to join you on-leash at this lovely inlet which also includes showers, bathrooms, and plenty of parking. Dogs will enjoying getting some exercise here, playing in the sand and splashing around in the water.
DOLPHIN SIGHTINGS
It is not rare to see a pod of dolphins swimming near the beach. They often times will be seen around noon, jumping through the ocean giving onlookers an awe-inspiring show. If you are boating out on the water during sunset your chances to see even more dolphins swimming together goes up even higher.
FISHING & BOATING
Enjoy the hot Florida rays and relax out on the open water. There is a nice boat launch conveniently nearby for you to get the whole family together and go for a ride on New Smyrna’s crystal blue water. The beach also offers great fishing for those who prefer to stay on shore. Walk out on the fishing pier for a chance to catch the best fish of the day! This pier extends into 18 feet of water allowing fisherman to gain access to a variety of marine wildlife. Fishing is allowed throughout the park.
