How To Remove Rust From Concrete
Rust is a very annoying and frustrating substance that can unfortunately show up almost anywhere in your house. You can find rust on metal objects all around the exterior of your house as well as on your concrete. When you find rust on your property, it can be annoying and frustrating to say the least. Luckily, there are several ways to remove rust from concrete and other surfaces.

Try Using Lemon Juice
The first way that you can try to remove rust from your concrete surfaces is to use lemon juice. Lemon juice is very acidic and when the lemon juice reacts with the rust, the rust softens and begins to dissolve. If you decide to use this method, be sure to use a considerable amount of lemon juice to completely saturate the stain. Let the lemon juice sit for ten to fifteen minutes and then use a steel wool scrub to scrub the area. You will most likely need to use a considerable amount of pressure. After scrubbing the area, rinse thoroughly with water. This same method can be replicated with vinegar.
Baking Soda
Baking soda is another fantastic way to remove rust. Baking soda is a very abrasive substance so when it is mixed with water or vinegar and comes into contact with things like rust, it is able to dissolve the rust. The mixture of baking soda and water should be a paste and that paste should be spread generously over the stained surface. Make sure to use gloves. Let the paste sit on the stain for around an hour. Then, use a stiff scrub brush to scour the area and rinse the area with water. It is advisable that if you decide to use this method, please be sure to keep the baking soda mixture wet while it is sitting so that it does not harden.
Try Pressure Washing Services
